About

ZSL.US refers to ProShares UltraShort SLV, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times the inverse (-2x) of the daily performance of the Bloomberg Silver Subindex. In simpler terms, it's designed to provide twice the opposite of the daily return of silver prices. It is important to note that due to the compounding effect of daily returns, the performance of this ETF over periods longer than one day may differ significantly from two times the inverse of the underlying index return for the same period.

Factors

Short and Leveraged: ZSL is a short and leveraged ETF. Its price is inversely correlated and amplified to the daily performance of silver. Silver Prices: As a short ETF, ZSL's price is significantly impacted by silver prices. When silver prices increase, ZSL's value is expected to decrease. Leverage Factor: ZSL's leverage factor magnifies both gains and losses. This can lead to larger price fluctuations compared to non-leveraged silver ETFs. Daily Reset: The daily reset feature of leveraged ETFs can cause performance drift over longer periods, impacting the ETF's price.
