About

XLB.MX refers to the Materials Select Sector SPDR Fund, but traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores). It tracks an index composed of U.S. materials companies within the S&P 500. This ETF provides exposure to businesses involved in the production of chemicals, construction materials, containers and packaging, metals and mining, and paper and forest products, all while being accessible to investors through the Mexican market. Essentially, it's a way to invest in a basket of large-cap U.S. materials companies denominated in Mexican pesos.
