About

VGINX.US refers to Vanguard Global ex-U.S. Index Fund Investor Shares. This fund is designed to provide investment results that closely correspond to the performance of the FTSE Global ex US Index, which represents broad market capitalization-weighted index of stocks of companies located in developed and emerging markets, excluding the United States. The fund attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index. It is a passively managed index fund, meaning it aims to match the index return rather than outperform it, offering investors diversified exposure to international equity markets.
