About

BIL.US is the Invesco Treasury Bills ETF. This ETF aims to track the investment results of the ICE BofAML US Treasury Bill Index, which is designed to measure the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate, investment-grade treasury bills with a remaining maturity of less than three months. It offers investors exposure to short-term U.S. government debt, generally considered a low-risk investment. BIL is often used as a cash equivalent or a means to preserve capital. Its objective is to provide current income consistent with investing in U.S. Treasury bills.

Factors

Treasury Bill Yields: BIL.US tracks short-term US Treasury bills. Rising yields generally decrease BIL's price, and falling yields increase it.

Interest Rate Expectations: Anticipations of future Federal Reserve rate hikes or cuts significantly impact BIL's price as investors adjust positions.

Supply & Demand: Increased investor demand pushes the price up, while higher supply (more shares available) can lower the price.

Economic Data: Strong economic reports can lead to expectations of higher interest rates, decreasing BIL's price. Weaker data can increase demand.

Inflation Expectations: Higher inflation expectations can lead to expectations of higher interest rates, decreasing BIL's price.
