About

ZQQ.TO is the ticker symbol for the Evolve FANGMA Index ETF, a Canadian-listed exchange-traded fund. The ETF is managed by Evolve Funds Group Inc. and trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

Factors

Nasdaq 100 Performance: ZQQ.TO tracks the Nasdaq 100 index, so its price closely reflects the performance of the index's constituent companies. Positive performance in major tech stocks drives ZQQ.TO's price upward, while declines cause it to fall. Currency Fluctuations: ZQQ.TO is CAD-denominated, holding USD-denominated assets. A stronger Canadian dollar relative to the US dollar reduces the value of the ETF in CAD terms, and a weaker CAD increases its value. Supply and Demand: Like any ETF, ZQQ.TO's price is influenced by market supply and demand. High demand pushes the price higher, while increased selling pressure lowers it. Management Fees: ZQQ.TO has a management expense ratio (MER). These fees, though small, are deducted from the ETF's assets and indirectly impact its overall return and price over time. Economic Conditions: Broad economic factors, like interest rates, inflation, and overall economic growth, impact the Nasdaq 100 and thus indirectly affect ZQQ.TO's price. Investor Sentiment: Overall investor confidence or fear in the market, particularly toward technology stocks, can significantly impact the demand for and price of ZQQ.TO.
