Factors

Inflation Expectations: As XTIP tracks inflation-linked bonds, rising inflation expectations increase demand, pushing prices up. Conversely, falling expectations lower prices.

Real Interest Rates: Real interest rates, nominal rates minus inflation, affect XTIP. Rising real rates decrease the attractiveness of inflation-protected bonds, lowering prices. Lower real rates increase demand and prices.

Supply and Demand: General market forces of supply and demand influence XTIP’s price. Higher demand than supply raises the price, while higher supply than demand lowers it.

Credit Risk: Changes in the perceived creditworthiness of the bond issuers within the XTIP portfolio can impact its price. Increased credit risk will lower prices.

Liquidity:XTIP's liquidity affects pricing. Less liquid markets may see greater price fluctuations due to lower trading volumes.
