About

WD1.F refers to the stock of Wirecard AG, traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE). Wirecard AG was a German payment processor and financial services provider that filed for insolvency in June 2020 after admitting that €1.9 billion of its cash was missing. Trading of Wirecard AG shares, including those with the symbol WD1.F, was heavily impacted by the company's financial difficulties and subsequent collapse. While shares might still be technically listed, their value is virtually nil, and trading activity is minimal, primarily related to the ongoing insolvency proceedings. The company's demise is considered one of the largest accounting scandals in German history.
