VGIT.US represents the Vanguard Intermediate-Term Treasury ETF. This ETF seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury 3-10 Year Bond Index, which measures the performance of U.S. Treasury securities with remaining maturities between 3 and 10 years. VGIT offers investors exposure to a diversified basket of these intermediate-term U.S. government bonds, providing a relatively low-cost and liquid way to invest in this segment of the fixed income market.
