Factors

Spot Price of Physical Gold: PHYS.US holds physical gold, so its price closely tracks gold's spot price. Fluctuations in the gold market directly impact the ETF.

Supply and Demand for PHYS.US Shares: Increased demand drives the ETF's price up, while higher supply pushes it down. Market sentiment plays a significant role.

Management Fees and Expenses: The ETF's expense ratio reduces returns. Higher fees can slightly depress the ETF's price relative to pure gold holdings.

Currency Fluctuations: As gold is often priced in USD, changes in USD's value against other currencies can impact the ETF's price, particularly for non-USD investors.
