About

MXN.F represents the near-month deliverable Mexican Peso futures contract traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). It allows investors to speculate on or hedge against fluctuations in the value of the Mexican Peso relative to the US dollar. Each contract represents 500,000 Mexican Pesos, and its price is quoted in US dollars per Mexican Peso. The contract expires on the Monday prior to the third Wednesday of the contract month and requires physical delivery of the Mexican Peso at the close of trading.

Factors

Mexican Economy: Overall economic health (GDP growth, inflation, employment) influences investor confidence and MXN.F demand. Interest Rates: Higher Mexican interest rates can attract foreign investment, boosting the Peso and potentially the stock's value. Global Risk Sentiment: Risk-on sentiment favors emerging markets like Mexico, increasing demand for Peso assets and MXN.F. Commodity Prices: As a commodity exporter, Mexico's economy and MXN.F are affected by fluctuations in oil and other commodity prices. Political Stability: Political uncertainty or instability can deter investment and negatively impact the Peso and the stock's price.
