About

GLL.AU represents the BetaShares Geared Australian Equity Fund. This exchange-traded fund (ETF) aims to provide geared exposure to the returns of the Australian share market. Specifically, it seeks to magnify the daily returns of the S&P/ASX 200 Index by approximately 2 to 2.7 times, before fees and expenses. As a geared product, GLL.AU is designed for sophisticated investors with a high risk tolerance who understand the potential for amplified gains, as well as amplified losses. The fund employs leverage, which can result in significantly larger percentage changes in value compared to the underlying index and may not be suitable for long-term buy-and-hold strategies.
