DMAT.US refers to the AXS Short China Internet ETF. This ETF aims to provide inverse exposure to Chinese internet companies. Specifically, it seeks to deliver the opposite of the daily performance of the CSI Overseas China Internet Select Index. Investors use DMAT.US if they believe that Chinese internet stocks, as represented by the underlying index, are likely to decline in value in the short term. It is important to note that inverse ETFs like DMAT.US are generally designed for short-term trading strategies due to the effects of compounding over longer periods which can lead to results significantly different from the inverse of the index's cumulative performance.
