Factors

Underlying Index Performance: The ETF's price mirrors the performance of the underlying index it tracks. If the index constituents' prices rise, the ETF's price will likely increase, and vice versa. Supply and Demand: Market forces dictate the ETF's price. Higher demand pushes the price up, while increased selling pressure can lower it. Net Asset Value (NAV): NAV reflects the total value of the ETF's holdings minus liabilities, divided by the number of outstanding shares. The ETF's market price tends to stay close to its NAV. Tracking Error: Differences between the ETF's returns and the underlying index's returns can affect the ETF's price. Higher tracking error may lead to deviations.
