About

VRP.US represents Invesco Variable Rate Preferred ETF. This exchange-traded fund (ETF) seeks to track the investment results of the ICE Variable Rate Preferred & Hybrid Securities Index. The fund primarily invests in a diversified portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated variable rate preferred securities and hybrid securities, providing exposure to the preferred stock market with an emphasis on instruments whose coupon rates adjust periodically based on a floating interest rate benchmark, typically tied to LIBOR or SOFR. As such, VRP is designed to provide income and may offer some protection against rising interest rates compared to fixed-rate preferred securities.
