About

SHRT.US refers to the ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil ETF. This ETF seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times the inverse (-2x) of the daily performance of the Bloomberg WTI Crude Oil Subindex. In other words, it's designed to go up in value when the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil, a key benchmark for oil prices, goes down, and vice versa, but with double the leverage. It is important to note that due to the leveraged and daily reset nature of this ETF, it is typically only suitable for short-term trading and is not intended as a long-term investment vehicle.
