About

JGEFX.US refers to the JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI). This is an actively managed ETF designed to provide current income while maintaining prospects for modest capital appreciation. It seeks to deliver monthly distributions and uses an options strategy, primarily writing (selling) out-of-the-money call options on the S&P 500 Index, to generate income. The underlying investments primarily consist of US large-cap stocks. Therefore, investors are exposed to the performance of these stocks, along with the income generated from the options premiums.
