About

IBRIX.US represents the iShares BRIC ETF. This Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), managed by BlackRock, is designed to track the investment results of an index composed of publicly traded companies in Brazil, Russia, India, and China. BRIC nations were once considered key emerging markets with high growth potential, and this ETF offered investors exposure to these economies through a single investment vehicle. However, it's important to note that the iShares BRIC ETF ceased trading on June 11, 2015 and was reorganized into the iShares MSCI BRIC ETF (BKF). Therefore, while IBRIX.US once represented a fund investing in the BRIC nations, it is no longer an active fund and is referenced for historical context.
