About

AIFRX.US represents the American Funds Inflation Linked Bond Fund Class R6. This fund seeks to maximize real return, consistent with preservation of capital, by investing primarily in inflation-indexed securities issued by the U.S. government, its agencies, and instrumentalities, as well as inflation-indexed corporate debt securities. As a Class R6 share class, it is generally available only to certain eligible retirement plans, endowments, and foundations, and typically has lower expense ratios compared to other share classes due to the absence of distribution and service fees.
